SOCHI, Russia – The US women fell short in figure skating with Gracie Gold finishing in fourth place. She had an excellent performance but did fall and in the end it was not enough for a medal. The US women’s hockey team also had a heart breaker of a game in the gold place final.  The US took an early lead 2-0, but Canada came back in the end to tie up the game, sending it to overtime. Canada got their third goal in overtime and got the gold medal for hockey.

The US men’s hockey team will take on Canada Friday in a semi-final game.
