If your job is draining all of your energy, giving you negative feelings about your work, or affecting your professionalism medically speaking, you are “burnt out”.
The term has been often used when people really need a vacation or long weekend after a period of chronic workplace stress.
Stress that the World Health Organization says can be diagnosed and costly with a study published in the annals of Internal Medicine reporting physician burnout costing the US health care system close to five billion dollars a year!
