Greg Sagan officially announced on March, 2 that he will be running for Congress again in 2020.
In November of 2018, Sagan lost in the General Election to represent Texas’ 13th District against Mac Thornberry.
Sagan represents the Democratic Party and served in the U.S. Navy for 14 years. He reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from West Texas A&M University.
Sagan said he is outraged at much of what our president has done since taking office and he wants to be the voice for the people.
“And my second point is I am actually a fiscal conservative,” Sagan stated. “And there are a lot of things that I believe the government could be doing differently and a lot of things that they are doing that are very expensive and they shouldn’t be doing at all.”
Sagan made his official announcement at the Warford Activity Center.
