Friona ISD is adding a bond to the ballot.
Their board of trustees has called for a bond election proposing a $19 million bond.
That bond would help construct a new primary school.
The bond would also help with renovations and security improvements of the elementary and junior high schools.
For the high school, the bond would help in the construction of a new band hall and storm shelter.
For all three schools, the bond would improve the fire alarms along with renovations to bathrooms and parking lot accessibility.
Also, the early childhood center would get a new playground.
