West Texas A&M University hosted the LIVE OUT LOUD event at the Branding Iron Theater on Sunday, Feb. 24.
This event was an opportunity for members of the LGBT+ community, their family, friends and allies to come together.
It featured LGBT+ panel speakers that grew up in the Texas Panhandle tell their stories. These speakers still live in the area and are successful, thriving individuals making a difference.
Parents also had the opportunity to hear the story of proud LGBT+ parents and siblings.
A “LIVE OUT LOUD” canvas painting was framed and donated to the Buff Allies/Spectrum Organization.
There was also a Q&A that followed the panel and refreshments.
