Winkle Sentenced After Bringing Firearms onto St. Mary’s Campus

Kevin Winkle was sentenced Wednesday after his conviction for bringing firearms and ammunition onto the St. Mary’s Catholic School campus last year.

According to court documents, Winkle was sentenced to six months in federal prison followed by one year of probation.

As part of his sentencing, Winkle was ordered to pay a $20,000 fine, is banned from working in the firearms business, as well as possessing any firearms, and forfeit six guns to federal authorities.

In addition, he is required to receive mental health treatment and is barred from entering any school or daycare facility during his supervision.
