Widespread Wells Fargo outage disrupting online, mobile access

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WRIC) — Wells Fargo is experiencing a widespread systems issue that is affecting customers’ mobile and online banking access.

A Wells Fargo spokesperson said some customers have been unable to log in due to the issue, according to WAVY.

Reports indicate the outage is affecting customers nationwide.  

A message about the issue was posted to the Wells Fargo Facebook page Thursday morning.

Our branch and contact center team members are able to assist customers while we resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.

It’s unclear at this time what may have caused the outage.
