Americans work more hours than any other industrialized country. We’re constantly checking our phones, working later, and even showing up to our desks on weekends. For women, especially, this overachieving mentality can lead to nodding off and fighting sleep at work and at home. And while it’s easy to assume long work hours, getting the kids to the game on time, and checking in on aging parents is the cause of excessive daytime sleepiness, it could be something more serious.
