Why Coca-Cola is rebooting a flop

“New Coke” is getting a new life.

Consumers gave the product a failing grade when it first came out.

But Coca-Cola is hoping to turn that around in a cross-promotion with the Netflix hit “Stranger Things.”

The show’s third season will take place in 1985, the same year the beverage giant launched the new version of its flagship soda.

Back then consumers called for the company to bring back the original formula which it did in just 79 days.

You can do your own taste test starting Thursday when Coca-Cola releases a limited number of twelve-ounce cans of New Coke.
