For starters, if you have a hankering for sweets, experts say your body needs rest.

Craving sugar is your body’s way of telling you it needs a boost of energy.

Feeling savory?

Burger cravings can mean your body needs more protein.

While wanting to fill up on fries is your body’s way of saying it needs fat.

And if your cravings persuade you to pick up pretzels,  health officials say the salt is associated with your body needing more iron.
