The nation’s third-largest bank deals with a direct deposit debacle.
Wells Fargo is assuring customers the issue with direct deposits for online and mobile bank accounts was not a cyber attack.
The bank taking action after it suffered a power shutdown Thursday resulting in problems for customers who could not see their direct deposits.
Wells Fargo says by late Thursday ATM services had been restored and mobile and online banking was operational.
The company also says it will reverse any fees that customers incurred as a result of the outage.
