Veteran Buys Chick Fil A For Active Military

An elderly veteran pays it forward.

This is 92-year-old Edmund Rusinek.

He’s holding receipts from the $1,500 he spent at Chick-fil-A.

That’s what he paid to treat active military men and women and their families.

Rusinek tells the Orange County Register he’s paying the man who treated him and his GI buddies to food.

That happened when Rusinek was in the service back in 1945.

The man told him if he wanted to thank him, pass it down.

And if these photos are any indication, Rusinek is as happy as the men and women he’s treating.
