Two Amarillo Men Enter Guilty Plea to Federal Drug Charges

Two Amarillo men entered guilty pleas in federal court Wednesday.

The first, Roman Mata, pleaded guilty to convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

The second man, Brandon Ellyson, pleaded to the charge of possession with intent to distribute 500 grams of meth or more.

Both men will be sentenced later this year.
