The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy is following in the footsteps of Hodgetown.
The school’s new name is the TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy.
It is named after former Amarillo mayor Jerry Hodge.
Hodge has been a long time supporter of the School of Pharmacy
“There is so many opportunities in pharmacy that we didn’t have when I graduated in 1965. It was basically business, but they got all of the clinical. There’s so much opportunities, and pharmacy is so exciting now I envy them,’ said Hodge.
Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System, Tedd Mitchell, added the pharmacy school would not be here without the hard work Hodge put into it.
