(WWBT) When faced with the choice of voting for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Mary Anne Noland’s obituary says she chose instead to pass onto the eternal love of God.
The 68-year-old Richmond, Virginia resident died Sunday, her husband says, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Jim Noland says he and Mary Anne had been married for nearly 46 years.
Noland says it was one of his and Mary Anne’s sons that penned the opening line to the obituary.
The line wasn’t meant as a parting shot at either presidential candidate, Noland says. Rather it was a joke and way for Mary Anne’s children to carry on her sense of humor.
