Hello folks and good Thursday morning. It’s a chilly morning (for August) around the area as a colder air mass is in place. Temperatures have fallen to the 50s outside, with dew forming at the surface. A few places are even getting close to record lows. Fall is coming, bring your jackets.
Under a mostly sunny sky, we’ll get warmer today than we did Wednesday. We’ll heat up to the upper 70s and lower 80s with south winds at 10 to 17 mph.
Showers and thunderstorms come back to the High Plains starting tomorrow night after a hot afternoon. We’ll get back on a brief warming trend through Saturday before another cool down arrives on Sunday.
Make it a great Thursday!
