Low Country Boil

  • 3 lemons halved
  • 1 large elephant garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp whole black pepper
  • 1 cup crab and shrimp boil seasoning 
  • 3 pounds small red potatoes about 1½” in diameter 
  • 2 pounds smoked sausage cut into ¾” pieces
  • 2 large yellow onions peeled and quartered
  • 4 ears corn shucked and cut in half
  • 2 pounds large 21-25 count shrimp, unpeeled
  • Cocktail sauce for dipping
