The WOWW Factor 2019 – Celebrating art and music from one generation to the next.


Window On a Wider World is opening the window for the public to see and experience first-hand the programs they provide that inspire the next generation for the children in the Panhandle.

The WOWW Factor 2019 consists of a one-week event that all takes place in the beautiful Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts.  This event will represent over 3,000 families from the Amarillo and Panhandle Community.  

Schedule of events – Monday, February 25 through Thursday, February 28, 2019

  • Monday, February 25th at 1:30pm:  Artwork will be displayed and judged by local artists, Gilliland Education Room.   
  • Tuesday, February 26th from10:00am & 1:00pm:  International instrumentalist, Todd Green will perform for 2400 second graders from 36 school districts in the Panhandle.  This educational performance provides a first-time opportunity for elementary students to experience an amazing musical presentation at the state-of-the-art Globe-News Center.
  • Wednesday, February 27th at 6:00pm:  The 5th Annual Youth Art Show, where 10 winners will be presented with $100 prize money for best artwork. This event will be held in the Gilliland Education Room located on the first floor of the Globe-News Center and is open to the public. This amazing art exposition is for fourth and fifth graders of the Panhandle (all 26 counties).
  • Thursday, February 28th at 6:00pm:  Window On a Wider World will host a public concert with International Instrumentalist Todd Green at the Globe-News Center For The Performing Arts.  Todd Green will entertain us with his musical talent as he performs with over 1000 instruments.  Guests will be amazed at his unique talent and engaging presentation. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served throughout the evening.
