The five fruits to add to your diet


According to the CDC, the top 5 nutrient-rich fruits are:

  • Lemons
  • Strawberries
  • Oranges.
  • Limes.
  • And pink and red grapefruit.

Researchers looked for fruits with the highest amounts of b vitamins, and most strongly associated with reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

Nutritionists say it’s also important to pay attention to a fruit’s ripeness.

Studies show that ripe fruits and berries offer more antioxidants than fruits that are not quite ready.
