A complimentary reception and art exhibit called: “The Art of Survival” is on display tonight.

It will feature art bras created by Dumas breast cancer survivors and their friends.

It’s tonight from 6:30 – 8:30 at the Art Center, located at 1810 South Dumas Ave.

Using ordinary bras as a canvas, women tell about their journey with breast cancer through art and interesting stories.

The evening honors these artists and celebrates all breast cancer survivors.

The art shows how courageous women reclaim their lives after cancer.

Attendees are invited to cast votes at the event for their favorite art bras.

The winning artist will receive a special prize.

You’ll get a chance to see at least 15 art bras in this Dumas collection, some but not all created in early May at a workshop at Moore County Hospital District.

You’re asked to watch for a second exhibit set for August 8, 2018.

It will be at the Cerulean Gallery in Amarillo.
