More than 2,300 fatal crashes happen in Texas each year.
 
And more than half of those reportedly weren’t wearing a seatbelt.
 
The Texas Department of Transportation launched their “Click it or Ticket” campaign this week.
 
This year one father’s hope is his story will make a difference.
 
Mike Myers’ 18 year old daughter died in a car accident two years ago.
 
He says she was headed from Texas Tech back home to Austin, wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and lost control of her car and died.
