It’s not just young people who love to play video games.

In fact, the average video game player is 34 years old!

And 72 percent of video game players are 18 years or older.

That’s according to the Entertainment Software Association.

The trade group says more than 150-million Americans play video games, and in 64 percent of American households – meaning at least one person plays video games at least three hours per week.

Overall, 60-percent of Americans play video games daily.

As you might expect, video games make a lot of money.

The trade group says in 2016, the industry sold more than $24.5-billion games – generating more than 30-billion dollars in revenue.
