On the night of December 9, Amarillo Police responded toa shooting on the 2900 block of South Woodland.
The victim had a single gunshot wound to her upper body. She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
On Wednesday, the Randall County District Attorney’s Office issued a warrant for 36-year-old David Raymond Romaine for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence.
On Thursday afternoon, Amarillo Police received information that Romaine was working for a business in the 600 block of South Grant Street. Romaine was arrested at this location and booked into the Randall County Jail for his warrant.
