Some good news this morning for those of US with summer birthdays.
Besides the usual perks of no school and warm weather, a new study suggests summer babies end up being healthier adults!
Researchers compared the growth and development of nearly half a million people living in the UK.
Those born in June, July and August tended to be heavier at birth, taller as adults, and began puberty later than winter babies.
All of these factors translate to better overall health.
Experts believe this may be due to more sunlight, and vitamin d exposure, during the second trimester of pregnancy but more studies are needed.
