School’s back in session and that means life just got a little crazier for most families! So when it comes to feeding your kids and it’s all about quick, easy, and of course healthy!
 
Make your own trail mix! Let your kids help you choose what goes in it, and they may be able to even make it themselves!
– Walnut halves or pieces (unsalted)
– Roasted and salted pumpkin seeds 
– Unsalted sunflower seeds
– Dried fruit (blueberries, cherries, raisins, etc.)
– Whole grain cereal like Cheerios (I like the protein cheerios)
 
Fruit & Yogurt Cone
– Plain sugar cone (like an ice cream cone)
–  Low-fat Greek Vanilla yogurt
– Cut up fruit (blueberries, diced apples, mandarin oranges)
 
Fresh Veggies and Dip
– Baby carrots, sliced cucumbers, celery sticks, grape tomatoes
– Hummus, Wholly Guacamole, Ranch
 
Fresh Fruit & Nut Butter
– Apple slices, pear slices, or a banana
– Almond butter or peanut butter
 
Hot n’ Cheesy Popcorn
– Popcorn (light)
– Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top
