Randall County Junior Livestock Show 2018

The events are Tuesday, January 16 through Saturday, January 20.

The Randall County Junior Livestock Show has been an institution of support for area youth and their animal projects since 1948. This year, the annual event will feature an expanded five-day format. Over 200 students are expected to exhibit in the show, accounting for more than 500 animal entries. 

The events are Tuesday, January 16 through Saturday, January 20:

  • Tuesday at 5 P.M with cattle
  • Wednesday at 4 P.M. with poultry and rabbits
  • Thursday at 5 P.M. with goats and sheep,
  • Friday at 6 P.M.  with a livestock judging contest
  • Saturday at 9 A.M. with swine
  • Saturday at 11 A.M. with an awards ceremony and raffle for a John Deere Gator and trailer. 

The events are located at the Randall County Happy State Bank Event Center, 1111 Loop 335. 

The weekend’s activities will be capped off with a premium sale on Monday, January 22 at the WTAMU Legacy Hall in Canyon. Potential buyers are invited to enjoy a complimentary reception and steak dinner beginning at 5 P.M.
