Every year, the American Cancer Society hosts a big party to celebrate people who have fought the battle against cancer and won, to remember those who we’ve lost, and to raise money for research and awareness.
This weekend, the generosity of the panhandle was on display at the Cattle Baron’s Ball. Country music star Canaan Smith performed for a sold-out crowd and thousands of dollars were raised for ACS. That money will go to help people here in the Panhandle.
