KRQE News 13 has learned that six New Mexicans were on board the duck boat that went underwater, killing 17 people in Missouri.
None of the New Mexicans were among the dead, but one was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The information was released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
News 13 briefly spoke to one of the New Mexicans who tells us she was with eight of her family members during the incident.
She asked to not reveal their names but did say her 64-year-old grandmother, the one with serious injuries, was discharged from the ICU Saturday night.
Her family has not yet returned to New Mexico.
