AMARILLO - Santa can bring a smile to almost any Scrooge's face, so you can imagine what he does for little kids at Christmas time.
Those smiles are especially needed for the kids at Northwest Texas Hospital.
Many of them will not be able to go home for the holidays. So Northwest flew the holiday in for them.
"No one likes to be in the hospital, especially during the holidays. So if we can even put a little bit of a smile on their faces, give them a little gift just to make them happy, and spread the joy. That's our goal," said Rachel Smith, Marketing Manager at Northwest.
Northwest is bringing Christmas cheer to the inside and the outside of their hospital. Friday, for the first time in a long time, they will be turning on the holiday lights outside.
