Sam Houston State Football Players Graduate on Plane to Playoff Game

Some players on the Sam Houston State football team received their diplomas this week in the most unusual way.
Their graduation ceremony was held 37,000 feet up in the air on a plane.
When officials at the University realized four players would miss graduation because they had to catch the team flight they decided why not graduate in the sky.
The players dressed in cap and gown, walked down the aisle, where they were greeted by the head coach and athletic director and received their diploma.
There won't be too much time to celebrate though as they are now preparing to play James Madison University in a playoff game in Virginia on Friday night
