Resignation of McCown Listed on Upcoming AISD Board of Trustees Agenda

Amarillo ISD could soon be looking to fill a position on the Board of Trustees.   According to a meeting agenda released by AISD, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held Thursday.  One of the items on that agenda is for the Board to consider accepting the resignation of Trustee Renee McCown.

A formal complaint was filed with the Texas Education Agency about McCown’s alleged role in the departure of a former AISD employee. 

Three new people were recently elected to the AISD Board of Trustees.
