AMARILLO, Texas - A resident doctor working at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center has been arrested.
Muhammad Habib was arrested earlier this month on the charge of Continuous Violence Against the Family.
According to Randall County records, he was arrested April 6 and bonded out April 11.
Texas Tech released a statement saying:
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is aware of the allegations against Dr. Muhammad Habib and he has been suspended pending further investigation. Since this is a personnel matter, the Health Sciences Center will not comment on the specifics of this case at this time.
