Report: US To Join United Nations Decrimininalize Homosexuality Around The World

The United States is teaming up with the UN to launch an initiative aimed to decriminalize homosexuality across the globe.

This move comes as the US continues to criticize Iran over its poor human rights record.

After reports came out of a man who was executed in Iran for violating the nation’s anti-gay law.

Leading the initiative is US ambassador to Germany – Richard Grenell – who is openly gay and has been a public critic of Iran.

There are currently 72 nations that have laws that make it illegal to identify with the LGBT community – with eight countries making it punishable by death.

The u-s will also work with members of the European Union to further push this initiative.
