Preliminary Autopsy Results in After Poisoning Deaths

AMARILLO - The preliminary autopsy results are in involving four minors who died after a deadly combination of pesticides and water.

Captain Larry Davis, of the Amarillo Fire Department tells us the pesticide has been identified as Weevil-cide

The four have been identified as Felipe Balderas, 7, Josue Balderas, 11, Johnnie Balderas, 9, Yasmeen Balderas, 17.

It happened early Monday morning around five a.m. when the Amarillo Fire Department responded to a medical call. 

All four of the autopsies' preliminary findings shows the children died from pulmonary edema.
Toxicology results are pending.
A Pulmonary edema also known as wet lung is when the lungs fill with liquid.

Toxicology testing along with other tests are still needed to confirm the cause of death.
