Potter County 4-H Pet Expo is a pet show for elementary aged kids in Potter County. Animal categories include dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles and little critters such as hamsters, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, etc. The Expo is on Saturday, June 1 at the Tri-State Fairgrounds Food Court Pavilion. Registration starts at 2:00 p.m., pet show starts at 2:30 p.m.
The event is free for elementary aged students, but you are asked to bring items to donate to Amarillo SPCA. Items include but are not limited to dog food (no Alpo brand), cat food, cat litter, dish soap, old towels, laundry detergent, paper towels, etc.
Ribbons and Rosettes will be given to winners and all participants will be entered into a grand prize drawing.
The purpose of the pet show is for kids in Potter County to learn about the Dog and Companion Animal 4-H Project Club in Potter County and how to join 4-H.
