Police Still Searching for Suspect in Borger Shooting

BORGER - Several law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for a man they say shot at the sheriff yesterday.
Christopher Garza is accused of shooting at the Hutchinson County Sheriff's vehicle and fleeing when they tried to pull him over.
The Hutchinson County Sheriff believed Garza and the vehicle he was in were involved in another shooting.
The sheriff says he fled from them and shot at the sheriff's vehicle.
The sheriff was not injured.
The vehicle involved was later abandoned, and Garza wasn't around.
Captain Brandon Strope of the Borger Police Department says, "We are still seeking Christopher Garza in this shooting we do have an active arrest warrant for him on a first-degree felony offense. We still do believe he is armed and dangerous. Ultimately we want a peaceful resolution. We would like Mr. Garza to turn himself in and for us to take him into custody."
If you have any information Garza's whereabouts, you are asked to call the Borger Police Department.
