Pink Boots Brew Day at Pondaseta Brewery Company

March 8th marks International Women’s Day, a global day that celebrates female leaders and the social, economic, cultural and political achievements made in moving women’s equality forward in hopes of achieving gender parity.

In Amarillo, female brewers & fans of beer come together at Pondaseta Brewery for Pink Boots Brew Day in hopes of drawing attention to the disparity of women in the craft brewing segment of the industry’s, workforce. Women brewers and members of the Pink Boots Society worked on a special beer that will be sold at Pondaseta in a couple of weeks.

More on Pondaseta Brewing Company:
It all started with Newton Road Ramblers, a Texas Country band the two founders were apart of. As the sound faded, Trever and Kaleb decided to pursue their passion of beer. After ten years of home brewing, they decided to bring you Pondaseta Brewing Co. The local brewery has a rotating menu of ales, lagers, sours, IPAs- all featuring some kind of local product in its recipe.  Pondaseta is located at 7500 SW 45th.
