The City of Amarillo’s Public Health Department, in conjunction with the City of Amarillo’s Animal Management & Welfare Department and the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society, will sponsor a low-cost vaccination clinic for people and their pets this Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the North Exhibit Hall (East Entrance #3) of the Amarillo Civic Center, 401 S. Buchanan. The Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society is also seeking volunteers to assist with vaccine administration and data entry.
PEOPLE: The vaccinations available are for adults only. Prices are $5 for one shot, and $10 for two or more shots. Please bring a copy of your shot record, if available. For more information on vaccinations, contact Public Health at (806) 378-6300. Shots available are TDAP, MMR, Meningitis, Pneumonia, HPV, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Flu.
PETS: Dogs and cats will be vaccinated and microchipped for the public while supplies last. Event prices are:

All dogs must be leashed and all cats must be crated to participate in the vaccination clinic. Vaccinations and microchips will be given inside the North Exhibit Hall only. Under no circumstances will staff or volunteers
perform these services in hallways or in the parking lot.
