Pantex Regional High School Science Bowl

About 30 teams from across the panhandle competed in the Pantex Regional High School Science Bowl Competition.

Every year, more than 100 Pantex volunteers prepare the academic competition for hundreds of students who participate in the event.

The winning team members of this event could advance to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington D.C. for the 29th U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science’s National Science Bowl.

The National Science Bowl was created to help encourage students to pursue jobs in math and science-related fields.

Pantex has been a Regional sponsor of the Science Bowl for 27 years.
