Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit Recover $23,000 in Stolen Goods

On Tuesday, an Amarillo Police Patrol Officer observed a stolen trailer on the 1000 block of Woodland.

Amarillo Police called Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit to assist. A search warrant was later conducted at the property.

Four trailers, three welders and two ATV’s valued at approximately $23,000 was recovered by the Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit along with officers from Amarillo Police Department.

The majority of the stolen items after being recovered were released to their owners.

The items were reported stolen through the Amarillo Police Department, Potter County Sheriff’s Office and Randall County Sheriff’s Office.
