Some Nicaraguan communities will soon have better means to respond to emergencies.
An organization called ‘Operation Nicaragua’ is passing through Amarillo today.
They are a seven-person group running a convoy of two fire trucks and two ambulances from British Columbia to Atlanta.
From there the vehicles will be shipped to Nicaragua as a donation.
Tonight, they will spend the night at Central Fire Station, then hit the road again tomorrow.
