Raccoons Drop In on Family
A homeowner in Michigan got a surprise last week when a family of raccoons fell through his ceiling.
A mother raccoon and her four babies fell from the attic and landed on a chair in the living room of the Sheridan Township home.
Emergency assistance was then requested to get the raccoons out of the house.
Firefighters and police had no trouble picking up the four baby raccoons, but the mother raccoon was a different story.
She bit through a firefighter’s glove while trying to escape.
Eventually, a dog catcher pole was used to get the raccoon into a cage.
None of the first responders or the raccoons were injured in the incident and the raccoons were released safely into the wild.
