One person is sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following an early morning wreck on South Coulter.
Around 2:07 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 5100 block of South Coulter on traffic collision.
Police say a 21-year-old male and a 20-year-old male were walking northbound on the 5100 block of S. Coulter on the sidewalk east of the roadway.
Officials say two 23-year-old females in a Nissan Altima, driving northbound, pulled alongside the two males to offer them a ride, and placed their four-way flashers on.
The driver told police that she noticed a car in her rearview mirror that appeared to be traveling fast.
Police say the vehicle, a Pontiac G6, struck the Nissan Altima.
The 21-year-old was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Pontiac G6, Brandon Ware, 18, and his passenger, an 18-year-old male were also taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
We are told the other passengers were uninjured.
Police said speed and alcohol are factors in the collision.
Ware was booked into the Randall County Jail on a charge of Intoxicated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury.

The northbound lanes are blocked at this time.
Traffic in the area will be delayed for at least one hour.
APD is asking everyone to avoid the area.
