The Texas Department of Public Safety was called to a two-vehicle crash Friday on US-60 in Gray County which resulted in the death of an 18-year-old.

Sgt. Cindy Barkley said at approximately 11:15 p.m., Reece Parker of Pampa was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am east on US-60 when he collided with a semi-trailer after crossing over into oncoming traffic. 

Sgt. Barkley said Parker was pronounced dead on the scene by Gray County Justice of the Peace, Connie Ogle. The driver of the semi-trailer was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

A third vehicle, not involved in the crash, sustained damage due to driving through debris.

DPS said road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
