One Dead After Train Collides with Road Grader in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma

ALFALFA COUNTY, Okla. (KAMR) - One person is dead after a BNSF train with an Amarillo crew onboard collides with a road grader in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma, just south of Goltry, Oklahoma.

Just after 5 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said, Jimmy Wilson, 74, of was driving a road grader was driving northbound on County Road 720 and a train was westbound on the railroad tracks.

Officials told us the Wilson failed to yield and was struck by the train.

Officials said Wilson was pronounced dead that the scene and the train crew was not injured.

Oklahoma Troopers ruled the cause as failure to yield.
