More than half of Texans find it harder to talk about mental health issues than physical health problems.
Several groups today launched the “Okay to Say” campaign for a second year.
The goal is to help open up the lines of communication on mental illness and the perceptions around it.
It’s also a way to encourage people to speak out on their own issues and get help.
Officials say they want people in the area to have a growing understanding and advocacy which will help people understand all of the programs available to them.
