Mail distribution of utility bills for some people has been delayed due to software changes in the City of Amarillo Utility Billing Department.

Until the software change is completed, late fees and penalties for utility bills will not be charged.

As of now, service will not be discontinued for late payments.

The City of Amarillo said there are several options for customers with concerns regarding their utility bill.

Those with concerns on how to make a payment are encouraged to call  (806) 576-1932 or make a payment at Amarillo City Hall in person.
