No Charges in Perryton Police Shooting

Two Perryton police officers won’t face charges after shooting a man back in May.
Police got a call a man was marching toward the school holding what police thought was a gun.
The Ochiltree grand jury today found no criminal offenses occurred during that incident.
Police say the man was seen dressed in body armor and was marching toward the school.
The man was confronted and police say he reached into his pocket, that’s when they shot him.
The weapon turned out to be a pellet gun.
No charges were filed at the time of the incident against the man
