Today, Nintendo announced its first-ever mobile game.
It’s called “Miitomo”.
The game was unveiled at an investor results briefing in Japan.
Nintendo describes “Miitomo” as a social networking game.
It will use the “Mii” avatars introduced with the Wii console in 2006.
Nintendo promises “friendly conversation starters” in a “secure and welcoming” environment.
The game is coming to mobile devices in March of next year.
In its presentation to investors, Nintendo said at least four more mobile games will be released over the next two years.
The games may include popular Nintendo characters, like Mario, Donkey Kong, and Kirby.
