There are currently more than 15-million Americans with a history of cancer and that number is expected to climb.
The American Cancer Society projects there will be more than 20-million cancer survivors by the year 2026.
Cancer rates have stabilized and even declined slightly But the number of survivors continues to increase because of a growing population and advances in treatment.
About one-half of current cancer survivors are 70 or older.
About 65,000 are under the age of 14.
